About Brassline
A studio built for one client at a time.
Most men put off waxing for the same reason: the idea of a salon front desk, a busy waiting area and an audience. Brassline was set up to remove all of that. You book a time, you walk in, and the only other person in the building is your therapist.
Daniel trained in beauty therapy after a decade in an office job he had stopped enjoying, and spent years working in busy salons before opening a studio of his own. What he noticed in those years was how many men cancelled at the last minute — not because of the pain, but because of the setting.
So the studio is small on purpose. One room, one therapist, one client, with waxing for every area and a medical-grade laser for men who would rather stop waxing altogether.
Nobody ever cancelled because of the wax. They cancelled because of the waiting room.

FAQs
The questions men actually ask.
Does it hurt?
A little — it is hair coming out by the root. Most first-timers say afterwards that it was far less painful than they expected: a quick, sharp sting, like pulling off a plaster, that fades within seconds.
How private is it?
Completely. The studio has one room and one therapist, with no reception and no waiting area, so you will not cross paths with another client. Everything discussed during your appointment stays there.
Why is the phone often unanswered?
Your therapist works alone and does not stop an appointment to take a call. Online booking shows real availability and confirms your time without anyone picking up the phone. If you would rather ask something first, the form comes straight through and gets answered between clients.
How long will I stay hair free?
Usually around two weeks completely smooth. After that, fine regrowth starts coming through that is barely noticeable for another week or so. Full regrowth takes six to eight weeks.
How many laser sessions will I need?
Most men need six to eight sessions. Laser only affects hair in its active growth phase, and not every hair is in that phase at once — which is why it takes a course.
How much notice do I need to give?
It depends on the week, but a day’s notice is usually enough for most times. The online booking shows exactly what is free, so there is no guesswork.
How do I pay?
EFTPOS, Visa and Mastercard are all accepted.
Are there package or student discounts?
Not at the moment. Prices are kept consistent for everyone, and quality products are never swapped for cheaper ones to make a discount work.
